Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion modification for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, which sees the return of the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War! retelling Tiberian Sun like never before.
A Whole New Tiberian Sun!
Not just a remake, but Tiberian Sun Rising is the next evolution of Tiberian Sun! It's time you saw the future, while you still have human eyes! Having been redesigned from the ground up to include all the things you love from Tiberian Sun, with new features, abilities, units and gameplay better than ever. We take the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made as an original game as a design concept/mindset for our development.
This mod will include the additions made in the expansion Firestorm as well they will make a return with a new spin. This mod promise's to do a lot and we'll be bringing back the thing's you love from Tiberian Sun-like. Stealth technology, Real Tiberium, Subtterain Units the Firestorm Defense system and more!
Battle the Elements!
One of the most exciting feature's we'll be including is a dynamic growing Tiberium environment which mutates the battlefield as it spreads! You could start on a map with not much tiberium at all, and finish the battle with Vein Holes, Ion Storms and more all occurring! So watch out!

We are once again participating in the fantastic Tiberian Sun Anniversary event celebrating the anniversary of the very game that inspired so many of us and the community comes together again. I apologies for the late notice the event is already in progress, and we will be doing a small showcase on the 21st of August at 2PM +0 GMT. But that said there are still 8 more days of fantastic mods and events planned to participate in and don't forget to catch up on what you've already missed so far over at the Tiberian Sun Anniversary Discord Server
Our Showcase is a small focused one this year but we've come with some new things to show, most of the team is still focused on the optimization work and we've hit a number of roadblocks this year due to real life problems in various members lives which was not ideal. We also didn't want to bring too much work away from optimizing as that is the key milestone to complete to move the project forward to release.
We've been working hard on the optimized version (which is at this point a complete rebuild of the project code) it has come a long way but we felt for this showcase the best gameplay can still be seen in the unoptimized version at the moment so we've put together a small showcase on some things we've been cooking up. But we're really looking forward to showing you all the latest in the optimized version the performance improvements and doing a before and after demonstration but we're just short of that for this event so something to look forward to in a future update.

Tiberian Sun Rising Gameplay Showcase - 21st August

This is a small event this year we don't want to overhype things while we're deep in in development on optimizing what we had to get it ready for release, but we didn't want to leave you without an update because we have noted we've been quiet for far too long which I truly am sorry for the radio silence.

Full disclosure I was using the memory patch.. but I was evaluating stability of the latest version of the unoptimized code branch (the optimized version is a whole new codebase and is significant amount of work that's still in progress). The latest unoptimized version has benefited from some improvements we've made in our newer optimized version. We're running more tests and we've got some small areas to wrap up but seriously looking into getting something out.
